In response to increasing demand we at the Claddagh Medical Centre provide a Complete Health Screen package for those who would like a more extensive health screen.
The Complete Health Screen entails a detailed health questionnaire, a preliminary assessment and test procedures by practice nurse, a full physical examination ( Cardiovascular, Respiratory, Abdominal, Neurological, ENT, Urological/Gynaelogical, Musculoskeletal as indicated) by doctor, interpretation and discussion of test results, risk assessment, a comprehensive report and user friendly advice towards monitoring any risk factors and maintaining good health.
Most people will only require a standard set of tests which are covered by our comprehensive package. Some people, especially those with already existing risk factors, may require additional investigations, and these will be discussed and agreed on an individual basis.
The Complete Health Screen may be viewed as an optional more extensive health screen for those who feel they would like to avail of this opportunity to find out more about their current state of health and their risk factors for disease in the future.
